Fiery redhead.  Total music nerd.

Absolute force behind the decks.

Barron S signature high-energy sets have landed her opportunities such as DJing on Rihanna’s Anti World Tour,

performing at Vancouver’s Freedom Arch for Team Canada’s FIFA 2026 matches, opening for Chromeo, Sharam Jay,

and making history as the first female DJ in the NHL. (Barron S served as both In-Arena DJ and Music Director for the

Vancouver Canucks from 2018–2021.)

Known for fusing bold beats with live vocals, Barron S brings both artistry and attitude to every performance. Her originals—like the viral “BO$$ BITCH” and the knockout follow-up “TKO” —have racked up hundreds of thousands of streams across Spotify and YouTube, cementing her as one of Canada’s most dynamic electronic artists.

However, it didn’t take working in the music industry for very long before Barron S noticed she was often the only

woman on the line-up, in the recording studio, or even in the room...

In a promotional campaign for her single ‘BO$$ BITCH’ Barron S interviewed 30 femme leaders from different

industries about the future of equality, where we are at now, and the definition of the word ‘bitch’.

What she foundwas startling.

In every profession other than teaching, nursing, and admin assistants, women were largely missing. It

made her realize that while equality is an issue in the music industry, we are just a microcosm of a much larger issue.

While we might not be able to change the whole world, we do have the power to make change in our own

communities.

And out of this, Barron S’ sets transformed and a beautiful new community was born.

Barron S’ growing community, affectionately known as ‘The Femmempire’ strives to:

(1) utilize the power of music and community for good.

(2) create more space and celebration of femme voices, leadership, storytelling, and artistry.

(3) create space for people of any gender to reclaim a piece of their own inner femininity that society tried to make wrong, or take away.

(4) throw EPIC parties infused with sassy femme energy + lots of booty shaking.
